The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We are so happy we chose Chosen Pool and Spa for our new pool. From the first meeting with Cory, the whole process felt easy and exciting. He kept us updated every step of the way, answered all of our questions, and really listened to what we wanted for our backyard. He made us feel comfortable and confident from day one. Carlos and the team did an amazing job bringing our vision to life. The pool turned out even better than we imagined, and the quality and detail really show. Our backyard now feels like a private resort, and we’ve already had so many compliments from family and friends. We highly recommend Chosen Pool and Spa to anyone looking to build a custom pool, especially one of their signature pool designs. The whole team truly cares about their customers and takes pride in their work. We are so thankful for everything they did for us!
Poor communication, no call, no show for quote.
Thank you Chosen Pool and Spa for exceeding our expectations! The entire process, from sales to construction was greatly managed. We highly recommend Chosen Pool and Spa to anyone who is looking to build their dream pool!
We had an amazing experience with chosen pool and spa from start to finish. The sales process was smooth and stress-free. Cory took the time to understand what we wanted, answered all our questions and not once made us feel pressured. Once construction began, everything was well organized, and communication was consistent. We always knew what to expect, and Carlos and his team were punctual, and detailed oriented throughout the build. The final result exceeded our expectations, and the entire process felt easy and seen us. We highly recommend chosen pool and spa to anyone looking for quality work!
Chosen Pool and Spa of North Port: license CPC1461551 issued May 2026, 24 finished projects on show, and only five Google reviews. New, and honestly labelled.
Chosen Pool and Spa works out of North Port, from Armenia Road in Sarasota County. This is a new company and the dates say so plainly: their Florida certified pool contractor license, CPC1461551, was issued in May 2026 and shows current, with renewal in 2028. The domain was registered in September 2025 and the site was being archived from February 2026. So the license is a few months old and the business a year. That is the most important fact on this profile and nothing else on it should be read without it.
Seven service lines, which is an ambitious spread for a company this new: new pool construction, renovation, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, screen enclosures, water features and outdoor living. Screen enclosures matter on the south-west coast, where they are half of what an outdoor space needs. Twenty-four finished projects are on show, and this is the strongest thing here by a distance — with no trading history and almost no reviews, the pictures are most of what there is to judge them by, and twenty-four is a proper set rather than a token gallery. The site is comprehensively about pools, with no trace of another trade.
North Port is the licensed base, in southern Sarasota County, and they publish a page for Sarasota itself. Beyond that their range is a question to ask rather than something the site answers — North Port, Port Charlotte, Venice and Sarasota are the reasonable assumption. One phone number is published; no email address appears on the site, so the phone is the only way in. The office keeps long weekday hours, 8:30 in the morning until 6:30 in the evening, closed at weekends.
Five people have reviewed them on Google, averaging 4.2 — nominally 0.32 below the 4.52 Florida average, but five reviews cannot support a comparison with a state average at all and it would be misleading to present it as one. On five reviews a single unhappy customer moves the number by most of a point, so the figure tells you almost nothing. Nor did any theme recur: nothing was praised by three separate customers and nothing was complained about by two, so there is no pattern in either direction to report. What you have is a licensed new company with twenty-four photographs of finished work and no public record yet. Judge it on the pictures, on meeting them, and on references from the jobs in that gallery — and ask who the crew are and how long they have worked together, because that is where a new company's real experience usually lives.

Answered from this record — not by the business.
Yes. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC1461551 is on record and shows current. It was issued in May 2026, so it is only months old — the license is real, it simply has no history behind it. Renewal falls in 2028. The license covers construction; insurance is separate and no register shows it, so ask for a certificate before anything starts.
There are five, averaging 4.2, and that is genuinely not enough to judge by. On five reviews one unhappy customer shifts the average by most of a point, so comparing it with the 4.52 Florida average would mislead you. No theme recurred either — nothing praised by three customers, nothing complained about by two. Treat the reputation as unwritten rather than as good or bad.
The license was issued in May 2026 and the domain registered in September 2025, so this is a first-year business. The people running it may have far more experience than the company does — that is the thing to ask about directly, along with who will actually be on site.
Yes, and this is their strong point: twenty-four finished projects are on the site, which is a proper set and unusual for a company this new. Ask which of them their current crew built, and whether you can visit one.
