We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Liquid Dreams Pools Construction LLC! From the very first consultation to the final reveal, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the quality of work truly speaks for itself. They stayed on schedule, kept us informed every step of the way, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about delivering exceptional results. And Jeff, the owner, is simply the best! March 2022: Our pool was completed and we are happy with the design and have been able to enjoy it this year. However the process of getting our pool done was incredibly painful. Start to finish, it took 13 months to complete. It took 6 months for the dig to start and 7 months to finish after that. The original timeframe Jeff gave was 8-10 weeks after the dig. While Jeff is very knowledgable, he is incredibly hard to get ahold of. Things got better after he hired an office manager but we were still unable to get timely responses, updates, or reasonable timeframes for anything. Every time contractors came by to work on the pool, our front or back yard was left littered with debris and trash. Now that our pool is complete, we haven’t been able to get ahold of Jeff for some minor fixes- I have been calling for 3 months with no response. We’re unhappy with some of our pavers and our neighbor’s sprinkler was broken twice during the process. Jeff said he would take care of these things but neither he nor his office manager will return my calls. We’re supposed to have a warranty on our pool however if anything were to go wrong, I highly doubt we could count on Jeff to fix it. We understand that things take longer these days and we have been incredibly patient, but the unreliability and lack of customer service was not acceptable. November 2022 Edit: Our pavers have sunk several times in several areas and as expected, Jeff has been unresponsive when asking him to fix it. After trying to reach him for 6 months, he sent people out to fix it and within a month or so, the same pavers were sinking again. I have tried to contact him 7 different times over the last 2.5 months with no response. We haven’t even had our completed pool for a year yet.

Jeff and his team have been consistently responsive, punctual, and respectful of our property. The pool is always well-maintained and in great shape. Whenever I have questions or want to make changes, Jeff provides clear answers and quick estimates. It’s been a great experience working with them. Shout out to his staff who put up with my barking dogs and my constant questions.

Was given tons of funs name from a mutual friend. He shows up late and quotes our pool and gives a time for five days after his arrival. Mind you our pool hasn’t been cleaned in a month post Ian and I live directly on the Caloosahatchee, I literally have fish (living and dead) in my pool. Five days later I wait for the entire day for him to no avail. I call and leave messages on his cell and business line for the next two days (the pool cleaning people are busy and I was desperate) still nothing. No call no show and he was rude when he was here for the quote. Don’t use this guy. Looking at his reviews this is his MO. Do yourself a favor and keep it moving to the next company.

Jeff helped us design and build our dream pool in the midst of Covid. During a time when sub contractors are unreliable and materials are very difficult to find, it did take time to build the pool but Jeff was very up front about that to begin with. There are always little repairs after the construction with any job and Jeff always stood behind his product and got people over to fix the issues. We are in unprecedented times with ridiculous labor and material shortages. I would be hard pressed to believe that the people that have left bad reviews would have been happy with any company that built them a pool. I will continue to recommend Jeff and his company to anyone looking for a pool!

Awful communication. Have to constantly send emails to try and get an answer. Thought we were in permitting phase for 6 weeks, nope never filed because according to Jeff “waiting for HOA approval”. But he never completed the requirements to build in HOA. Then gives the excuse “I’m really busy”. Awful business person, I ultimately told him I was taking my business somewhere else. If you can’t communicate during the beginning phase, how is it going to be during entire process.

About Liquid Dreams Pool Construction LLC

Learn everything about Liquid Dreams Pool Construction of North Fort Myers — reviews, license CPC1459242, and contact record! FloridaPoolz.

Who they are

Liquid Dreams Pool Construction works from Mercantile Street in North Fort Myers, Lee County, on Florida pool contractor license CPC1459242 — current since February 2019. Their domain dates from September 2021. They build new residential and commercial pools and handle renovation and repair. 12 project photographs are published. Their site describes them as number one and offers a three-year warranty.

What the reviews say

Google has them at 3.6 from 17 reviews. The Florida average across the 346 builders on this directory is 4.52, so they sit nearly a point below the middle. Seventeen reviews is a small record — but six of them are one or two stars, and that ratio is not something a couple of difficult customers produce.

The complaints are consistent, and they are all about the same stage of the job. One customer whose pool was finished in March 2022 says they are happy with the design and enjoy it, and that the process of getting there was the problem. Another says a drawing was done in August and that calls, texts and emails since have gone unanswered. A third describes a quote given late and a promised timeline that did not hold.

The pattern is contact, not construction. Nobody on this record says the finished pool is bad; several say that reaching the company while it was being built, or before it was started, was very hard.

What they build

New residential and commercial pools, renovation and repair, from North Fort Myers across Lee County. Their published service list is narrow — no servicing, spas, enclosures or water features. They keep no separate town pages.

Before you sign

Get the three-year warranty in writing with what it covers and what voids it, since it is advertised and worth having on paper. Get a named contact, a direct number and a written response-time commitment — every substantial complaint on this record is about not being able to reach anyone, and a contractual answer is the only lever you will have. Tie payments to inspected stages so a silent month is also an unpaid one. Ask for two customers from the last year and call them. Ask for the insurance certificate.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

Is Liquid Dreams licensed in Florida?

Yes. Florida pool contractor license CPC1459242 has been current since February 2019. Ask for the insurance certificate separately.

How bad is a 3.6 rating?

On 17 reviews it is a small sample, but six of those are one or two stars, and that ratio is not what a couple of difficult customers produce. The Florida average across the 346 builders on this directory is 4.52, so they sit nearly a point below the middle.

What do the complaints say?

All the same thing: contact. One customer happy with the finished pool says the process of getting there was the problem. Another says a drawing was done in August and calls, texts and emails have gone unanswered since. A third describes a late quote and a timeline that did not hold. Nobody says the finished pool is bad.

What about the three-year warranty they advertise?

It is on their site. Get it in writing with what it covers and what voids it, because an advertised warranty and a contracted one are not the same thing.

What should I insist on?

A named contact with a direct number and a written response-time commitment, and payments tied to inspected stages so a silent month is also an unpaid one.
