I will start off by saying that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor, period! When we wanted to start gathering quotes for a pool, I happened to be at a stop light, right behind a Kura pick up truck and decided to grab the number. I narrowed it down to three companies, and from the first visit I could see that Kura was a step ahead of the others. John came more prepared than anyone else, mainly by bringing an electronic elevation measuring device. That allowed us to get accurate measurements, which in turn led to a more accurate quote from the beginning. The other two would not have figured out any discrepancies until the engineering phase (after I would have already been committed). Additionally, John was very proactive in creating multiple design options for me when I would ask for only one, meaning he always had my budget in mind and worked creatively to meet my needs. Because of this, I got more from Kura for the best price, compared to the other two. Picking out the finishes was easy enough at their office, and that's where you meet Tammy, who did great dealing with all the permits and other items of that nature. Moving on to the construction phase, Matt was our project manager. Matt is still, and always was, responsive when I reached out, did well to keep all the different work crews on task, and when an issue came up, it was addressed immediately. My wife and I have a lot of experience with these types of projects and I really can't believe how pleased we are with Kura, the whole project was completed in less than four months! And the workmanship is excellent. Once the pool is filled, Gabriel comes out to get the filter system going, he is very helpful and guides you through "Pool School" until you are confident and able to use the system yourself. Beyond that, everyone is available for help or questions as you settle in to your new pool. I can't recommend Kura Design Pools enough, just a really great company from our perspective.

Our experience with Kura Design was truly outstanding. They built our pool exactly to the specifications we wanted, and in just seven weeks it was ready. The design process was smooth, but what really made the difference was the guidance and support from Matthew Daniel, the Project Manager. Matthew was there every step of the way—always available to explain what was happening and what the next steps would be. He kindly answered texts and calls, and even visited us whenever we needed. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine kindness gave us complete peace of mind throughout the project. Thanks to him and the Kura Design team, the whole process was not only efficient but also a very positive experience. We highly recommend Kura Design—and especially Matthew—for anyone considering building a pool. Update: Unfortunately, our experience with Immaculate Images, a subcontractor hired by Kura Design to handle the surrounding area of the pool, was extremely disappointing. The work was poorly executed and completely uneven, as the ground was never properly compacted. Communication with the owner, Chris Bell, was nearly impossible. He claimed that Kura had not paid him, and as a result, he abandoned the job before it was completed. We ultimately had to hire another company to redo the work correctly, which cost us over $3,000. While our experience with Kura Design and Matthew Daniel remained positive, we strongly advise anyone working with Kura to make sure that Immaculate Images and Chris Bell are not involved in any part of the project. Ensuring this will help you avoid unnecessary frustration, delays, and additional expenses.

A special thanks to: - our designer - Yvette who was very patient and helpful from the beginning, -our project coordinator - Matt that resolved any issues timely and helped bridge communication gaps between us and the pool contractors, and -our service manager - Gabriel that explained many things to us about the care of our pool One piece of feedback would be to communicate with each other about projects from start to finish so customers aren’t getting different information from different team members about location of pool equipment, decking materials, and so on. It happened to us early on but was resolved by the company and they took full responsibility which I appreciated. Their commitment to excellence was evident. Yvette was amazing to work with! And Matt was great in handling any issues or questions that came up during the process. We truly appreciated that the installation was completed with impressive speed, and the final outcome exceeded my expectations. Now, thanks to Kura, I get to enjoy a stunning pool with a stunning view right in my backyard. And I know my investment is protected since Kura provides warranties over their work. I highly recommend Kura for anyone seeking a quality pool installation experience with competitive pricing!
