The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Had a pool built by Frank and his subcontractors. Been ongoing for almost a year now. Still not completed. They installed broken coping to begin with. Show up randomly at our home with no heads up. We have a line in our pool when the color went in that they have tried to get it out at least 2x now. Our spa has one good working jet out of over 6. We are unable to get our pavers installed because Pool tech will not revise the permit. We do not have a final on our Pool. We have reached out to there office several times, there office "admin" Michelle , Frank, everyone else in the office and the current owner Anthony with no response. Communication is poor at best with this company
Started pool with PoolTech nearly two years ago. Still waiting for variable speed pool pump and bubbler valve. Construction went pretty well, but the "last mile" has been torture. POOL Tech does t seem to care about finishing the job right. Sadly disappointed as a repeat customer.
Pool Tech Builders of Miami: licensed since 2013 with almost no review record, and how to assess them anyway. FloridaPoolz.
Pool Tech Builders works out of Miami, holding Florida pool contractor license CPC1458434, current since August 2013 — thirteen years. Their current domain dates to late 2023 and their portfolio was added to in June 2026, including an Islamorada residence. They hold published awards, which unlike most marketing claims are specific enough to check.
New pool construction, spas, water features and outdoor living work, with commercial pools alongside residential. Renovation and ongoing servicing are not among what they publish. No separate area pages are published, so Miami-Dade is the working assumption, though the portfolio reaches down into the Keys. A full set of project photographs is published.
There is effectively no review record. Google carries a listing for them but no rating at all, and Yelp holds a single one-star review. One review is not a rating: it cannot be compared with the Florida average of 4.52, it says nothing about how they handle a build, and it would be wrong to present it as their standing. What it does mean is that the usual way of assessing a builder is unavailable here.
Read that single Yelp review, because it is the only customer account in existence and its substance matters even though its arithmetic does not. Then get everything else from them directly: how many pools they have completed since 2013, which of the portfolio projects are their own, which awards they hold and from whom, and three customers from the last two years you can call. A company licensed for thirteen years with no Google rating is unusual, and worth asking about plainly.
Claims on their site we could check against a record.
Their site carries named ones including Master Pools Guild. We have not written to the awarding publications, so this rests on their own published record.

Answered from this record — not by the business.
Yes. Florida pool contractor license CPC1458434 has been current since August 2013 — thirteen years — and is current on the state register.
They do not meaningfully have one. Google lists them but carries no rating, and Yelp holds a single one-star review. One review cannot be compared with the state average or presented as their standing.
Directly. Ask how many pools they have completed since 2013, which portfolio projects are their own, which awards they hold and from whom, and for three recent customers you can call.
New pool construction, spas, water features and outdoor living work, residential and commercial. Renovation and servicing are not among what they publish.
They publish awards that are specific enough to check. Ask which ones and how recent.
