The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
I had an excellent experience with Daydream Outdoor Living for my pool resurfacing (Signature Matrix finish). Dave was extremely professional and communicative throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way, which made everything stress-free and seamless. Not only was the work completed on time, but the area was always kept clean and organized. Dave also went above and beyond by recommending great contractors to help clean my pool and paint the pool deck, which was incredibly helpful. The final result looks amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. I love how the finish of the pool makes the water look, so beautiful and different depending on how the sun hits it 🩵Highly recommend Daydream Outdoor Living if you’re looking for quality work and outstanding service!
More of a Disappearing act than a Daydream. Asked for pricing quote and met to discuss options, then was given a quote for an extra 10k of work I said that I did not want and no quote for any of the work I actually wanted. Then was told I would need to meet to look at the pool a second time, took time away from work because they didnt have any other available time and then was stood up. When I called again, was given the reason, "we already have what we need, my son was supposed to call you". Two weeks later and still nothing. I wouldnt rely on them to build a birdhouse, let alone work on my pool. Time to wake up
Taylor and David were a great team and wonderful to work with. They did everything that they said they were going to do and were very professional. We had numerous quotes and decided to go with daydream. Some other companies had insulting, ridiculous contract terms, and some people wanted us to drive out to their storefront in Daytona to look at samples. Taylor was very responsive every time I texted him a question and I felt very comfortable using them and I’m glad that we went with them. The pool came out great and I would highly recommend them.
We had this company come replace the skimmer in our in ground pool. I should have been concerned when they were able to get out so soon, as other companies had a few weeks wait. We decided to go ahead. We paid a 50% deposit and they stated the work would take 3-4 hours, and they were here for 7 hours. The gentleman was very nice, I kept bringing him waters as it was very hot out. I offered to set up an umbrella for him which he refused. I believe he should not have been here alone and that this was a 2 person job. When he was done we paid the remaining 50% and we were told the let the concrete dry for at least 6 hours before filling the pool again. It wasn't until that evening that we realized they didn't connect the pipe that fills the pool. We contacted them right away asking for this to be corrected. They said they didn't know what we were talking about and asked for pictures. After continuing to follow up with them, they stated that pipe was capped off and would now require additional payment to fix it. The pipe was working before they came, they never asked us if we wanted it disconnected (which we didn't). If you disconnect something while making a repair you need to reconnect it when done, or at the very minimum speak to the homeowner first. I'm extremely disappointed in this outcome and their lack of communication and accountability. I would not recommend this company.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Daydream Pools on our new pool. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Taylor and the rest of the team was professional, responsive, and truly committed to delivering high-quality work. We were especially impressed with the attention to detail and thoughtful design touches. They listened carefully to what we envisioned and then brought it to life—even better than we imagined! The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the final result is absolutely stunning. It's now the centerpiece of our backyard and has quickly become our favorite spot to relax and entertain. If you’re looking for a reliable, creative, and skilled pool builder in the Winter Park area, Daydream Pools is the one to call. We’re so glad we chose them!
These guys are the best in the business. It's very hard to find quality people who do quality work, most importantly; who communicate and are timely. Daydream Pools wins the gold 🏅 🏆 with me. Last year, they quickly installed an amazing jandy lighting system, and today, I made the call to come and look at my lighting system and within no time. Not only did they help me find the problem, they also taught me how to fix it myself in the future. If you're scared to trust companies with your hard earned money. Trust me, they are trustworthy and top-notch quality. 5 🌟 s, in my opinion... 100 stars 🌟!! Thank you for helping me enjoy my pool as if I was on vacation every single day! Ernest

Daydream Pools of Winter Park: 4.6 on Google from 62 reviews, four distinct praise themes, and written pages for twelve towns across five counties.
Daydream Pools works out of Golfside Drive in Winter Park, Orange County. Their Florida contractor license, CPC1460885, was issued in January 2025, so the license is barely eighteen months old — though the web presence behind the name goes back further, with the site archived as early as 2013. Ask them how long the team has been building, because the license date is not the whole story. Three claims rest on their own word: family-owned, premier or most trusted, and a one-year warranty. A one-year warranty is short for a pool, so read that document carefully — it is the shortest cover claimed by anyone on this list.
New pool construction, renovation and resurfacing, repairs, ongoing pool service, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living work. Seven lines, and the reviews cover the range genuinely — customers describe both new builds and resurfacing work, one specifying a Signature Matrix finish, which is the sort of detail that only comes from a job actually done. They publish fifteen project photographs and keep Saturday hours as well as weekdays, which makes arranging a site visit easier than with most builders here. Note that some customers refer to them as Daydream Outdoor Living, so expect either name on paperwork.
The best-documented service area of any builder in the Orlando metro on this list. They publish their own written pages — written for each place rather than one template with the name swapped — for Winter Park, Orlando, Winter Garden, Windermere, Maitland, Oviedo, Longwood, Lake Mary, Mount Dora, Clermont, New Smyrna Beach and Melbourne. Twelve places spanning Orange, Seminole, Lake, Volusia and Brevard counties, and that is documented reach rather than a claim to cover the state. If you are anywhere in greater Orlando or out towards the coast, they have written about your town specifically.
Google has them at 4.6 from 62 reviews, above the 4.52 Florida average — and the consistency behind it is the better part of the story. Four separate praise themes clear our reporting floor: professionalism named by eight customers, build quality by five, communication by five, and keeping to schedule by three. Four themes on 62 reviews takes real consistency, and this particular set covers the whole arc of a build — the manner, the finished article, the talking and the timetable. Communication being named as often as build quality is worth noting, because it is the most common thing to go wrong. Customers describe the process as smooth and transparent from start to finish. No complaint theme reaches our floor of two customers naming the same thing, so there is no recurring problem to report. Two individual accounts are worth reading, and both concern smaller jobs rather than builds. One customer had a skimmer replaced, was surprised the company could come out immediately when others had weeks of backlog, and regretted it. Another describes asking for a quote, being given one that included ten thousand dollars of work they had explicitly declined, and then getting no quote at all for what they had actually asked for. Neither is a pattern. Both point the same way: the record here is strong on pool building and thinner on small repairs and on the quoting process. If your job is a new pool or a resurface, this is one of the better profiles on the list. If it is a small repair, get the quote itemised and in writing before anyone starts.

Google has them at 4.6 from 62 reviews, above the 4.52 Florida average, and four praise themes clear our reporting floor: professionalism (eight customers), build quality (five), communication (five) and keeping to schedule (three). Four themes on a sample that size takes genuine consistency, and communication being named as often as build quality is a good sign.

Their license, CPC1460885, was issued in January 2025, so it is about eighteen months old — but the site behind the name was archived as far back as 2013. The license date and the trading history disagree, which is common and usually innocent. Ask them how long the team has been building pools.
Small jobs and quotes rather than builds. One customer regretted a skimmer replacement done at short notice; another was quoted ten thousand dollars of work they had declined and never received a quote for what they actually asked for. Neither is a pattern, but get any quote itemised and in writing, and be specific about what you are not asking for.
It is their claim and no public record confirms it — and one year is the shortest warranty claimed by anyone on this list, which for a pool is not long. Read the document before you sign: what it covers, what voids it, and what happens in year two. Their premier and most-trusted claims are marketing rather than fact.
