The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose Affordable Pools for our custom pool and spa build. Three years later and it’s still one of the best decisions we’ve made. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and much faster than we expected. They completed our pool in record time, the custom design turned out absolutely beautiful and the hot tub was the perfect finishing touch. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the price was incredibly competitive for the quality we received. We’d requested quotes from 6 other well known companies in the area and we received the most for the best price. Aside from the pool build, a travertine deck was included in the cost. They install their decks with a concrete sub deck, three years later and not a single weed has grown. They were responsive, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what they promised. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful custom pool at a great price. Thank you for creating a backyard our family will enjoy for years to come!
I came across Affordable Pools through a work colleague. They were pleased with their service so I gave them a call. Dylan was friendly and knowledgeable, and immediately came to our property for a free quote. I had called another company that couldn’t even get me on the “free quote” schedule for over 3 months!!! They were always very communicative and honest with us, and very affordable to some other quotes we had gotten. They have a well-oiled machine that got our project done in less than 4 months. I would recommend Affordable Pools ( and already have) to everyone.
Dylan with affordable pools does great work at a very fast pace. We absolutely love our pool and sign to swim was quick, every day there was a new step being done.Any small issue that we may have had he corrected right away. We’ve had our pool for 3 years now and have had zero issues. Listen to upgrade suggestions like the bubbler, or sun shelf which have become our favorite parts of the pool.1,000% do the heater chiller so you can enjoy the pool 12 months out of the year. If you get the choice use Peter as your Rep he’s very easy to communicate with. Overall very happy with Affordable pools!

Affordable Pools of Holly Hill: Florida licensed since 2022, a flat 5.0 on Google from 45 reviews, with customers reporting pools still trouble-free years on.
Affordable Pools works out of Ridgewood Avenue in Holly Hill, just north of Daytona, and holds Florida contractor license CPC1460092, current since December 2022. Their own headline claims Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties. They describe themselves as family-owned, which is not something the public record settles either way.
Custom gunite pools and spas, water features and outdoor living space. What is unusually useful in their review record is that some of it is old enough to mean something about durability rather than delivery: one customer writes three years after their pool and spa were finished to say it is still one of the best decisions they made, and another reports a pool eighteen months in with no problems and in near-daily use. Most reviews on this list are written the week the water goes in. These are not.
Holly Hill is the licensed address and the Google listing sits in Ormond Beach next door. They publish pages for Ormond Beach, Palm Coast and St. Augustine — and there is a real difference between them worth knowing: the St. Augustine page is genuinely written for that area, while the Ormond Beach and Palm Coast pages are the same template with the town name changed. Read the St. Augustine reach as evidenced and the rest as intent, and ask directly if you are further out toward Flagler or St. Johns.
Google has them at a flat 5.0 from 45 reviews, well clear of the 4.52 average across Florida's builders and on a base large enough to carry real weight. Seven separate customers name their professionalism, and no complaint was raised by two or more customers — in fact none appears at all. The praise is specific about the parts of a build that usually go wrong: communication kept up throughout, the different trades on site behaving well, and the schedule holding. Two claims to discount, because neither is checkable and both are theirs rather than anyone else's. They describe themselves as award winning, and nothing on their own site names an award, a year or an awarding body — there is simply nothing to look at either way. And they call themselves the premier and the number one builder in the area, which no independent body ranks and which the reviews, however good, do not establish. Judge them on 5.0 from 45 with pools still sound years later. That is the strong part, and it does not need the slogans.

Yes. Florida contractor license CPC1460092 has been current since December 2022.
A flat 5.0 across 45 reviews, well above the 4.52 Florida average. Seven customers name their professionalism and no complaint appears from anyone. Unusually, some reviews are written years after the build — one at three years, one at eighteen months — and both report the pool still trouble-free.
Holly Hill and Ormond Beach are home. They publish pages for Ormond Beach, Palm Coast and St. Augustine, but only the St. Augustine page is genuinely written for its area — the other two are one template with the town swapped. Treat St. Augustine as evidenced and confirm anywhere else by phone.
Both are their own marketing lines. Nothing on their site names an award, a year or an awarding body, and no independent body ranks Florida pool builders. The review record is genuinely strong; the slogans add nothing to it.
Gunite, alongside spas, water features and outdoor living space. Construction method is something most Florida builders never state, so it is worth confirming on your own quote.
The license dates from December 2022 and the website from early 2023, so about four years — but with reviews describing pools that have been in the ground for three of them.
