The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Eli and Kai are such an extraordinary team to work with! These professionals work hard, are communicative, very conscientious about caring for the property, and they really know what they are doing. We were above and beyond impressed with their work. Eli did a great job of installing our lighting and showing us how to run the lighting through our phones. The plants we purchased through Artisan did what plants do - got a little stressed from moving but Artisan was right there, came out and replaced the few that needed assistance. This team is responsive, intelligent, and customer service oriented. Thank you Rigo, Luke, Eli and Kai. We appreciate you and recommend you to all.
A terrific group of professionals who provide great service. But about half of the many plants they installed never properly acclimated. I will never again use them for landscaping services.
I am very happy to see the changes that Artisan's team made to my garden! The team of Eli, Kai, and TJ worked hard and long in this terrific heat to complete the project. Eli was completely interested in meeting my needs for the areas they dealt with. They were prompt, trustworthy, and nice gentlemen. I will gladly refer Artisan to anyone in need of landscaping. Thank you so much! Wendy Weaver
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Artisan Outdoor Living was so disappointing I felt compelled to warn others. From the very beginning, their work ethic was abysmal. Communication was slow, disorganized, and dismissive. They made it clear that unless I paid an outrageous $5,000 design fee, they wouldn’t even provide a basic quote for the project. That’s not professional, that’s predatory. What kind of company expects thousands of dollars up front without offering even a ballpark estimate or demonstrating what value they bring to the table? And when I asked questions or tried to get clarification, I was met with rude, arrogant, and condescending behavior. Not once did I feel like they respected my time or input. They might have slick marketing and pretty pictures online, but don’t be fooled, this company is all image, no integrity. If you’re looking for transparency, respect, or a basic sense of professionalism, look elsewhere.
These guys are awesome! I told them I wanted some outdoor lighting and they installed the most high-quality fixtures I can imagine. They help me put everything on a Wi-Fi controller and automatic timers. All of my neighbors immediately commented on how much nicer my house looks. I will be using Joey and Luke again to do my backyard next.
Excellent across the board! They helped us renovate our backyard--from installing beautiful brick garden beds to an outdoor shower with decking and drainage--and we enjoy the space so much more now. Every person we interacted with--Joey, the project director; Austin, the irrigation manager; Victor, Mike, and the other installation specialists--was kind, knowledgeable, hard-working, and went above and beyond. We highly recommend and look forward to working together on future projects!

Artisan Outdoor Living of Clermont: 4.9 on Google from 171 reviews, excellent on pools and structure, with a caution about soft landscaping.
Artisan Outdoor Living works out of Shady Nook Drive in Clermont, Lake County. Their Florida contractor license, CPC1460571, was issued in March 2024 and is current, and their domain dates from late 2022 — so this is a young company, roughly two to four years of trading depending on which date you take. They describe themselves as family-owned, which is their own account and not a matter of public record, and as licensed and insured: the license is real and current, insurance is not verifiable from outside any company, so ask for the certificate. The email address they publish sits on a different company's domain, which may mean a sister business or a rebrand — worth a question, not an alarm.
New pool construction, spas and hot tubs, screen enclosures, outdoor living work, and commercial pools alongside residential. The name is accurate: this is a firm oriented to the whole outdoor space rather than only the water, and the reviews bear that out — customers describe brick garden beds, decking, drainage and an outdoor shower as much as pools. That breadth is genuinely useful if you want one contractor for the whole backyard. It also means some of their work is landscaping, which is a different trade with different risks, and one review below turns on exactly that. They publish eight project photographs, and finish early on Fridays.
Clermont and Lake County. They publish no separate pages for individual towns, so there is no documented service area — Clermont, Winter Garden, Groveland and the western side of the Orlando metro is the sensible reading, and anything further is worth confirming by phone. There was activity on the site earlier this month, though the last page they actually changed was a privacy policy in late 2025, so the website is maintained rather than worked on. For a company this young, references will tell you more than the site will.
Google has them at 4.9 from 171 reviews, and that is the strongest combination on this list: a near-perfect score held across well over a hundred and fifty customers, comfortably clear of the 4.52 Florida average, achieved in at most four years of trading. Five separate customers name their professionalism and five the quality of what was built, and both clear our reporting floor. The detailed accounts describe hard-working crews, active communication and care taken over the property itself while work was going on — that last one matters, because a builder who protects your garden while digging it up is telling you something about how they operate. No complaint theme reaches our floor of two customers naming the same specific thing, so there is no recurring problem to report. Two individual accounts are worth reading, and they are unusually specific. One is a two-star from a customer who calls them a terrific group of professionals providing great service — and then says about half of the many plants they installed never properly acclimated, and that they would not use them for landscaping again. That is a precise and fair distinction: praise for the construction, a warning about the planting. The other is a one-star describing poor work ethic and slow communication, which sits squarely against everything else on record. Against 171 reviews at 4.9 these are the tail. The practical conclusion is the one the two-star customer reached: if the job is pools, decking and structure, the record here is excellent; if it includes soft landscaping, ask who does the planting and what happens if it dies.

Google has them at 4.9 from 171 reviews, well above the 4.52 Florida average — the strongest combination of score and volume on this list, and achieved in at most four years. Five customers name their professionalism and five the build quality, both clearing our reporting floor. Accounts mention hard-working crews and care taken over the property during the work.
Ask more questions first. Their most instructive review is a two-star from a customer who calls them a terrific group of professionals and then reports that about half the plants they installed never properly acclimated, and that they would not use them for landscaping again. On pools, decking and structure the record is excellent. On planting, ask who does it and what the guarantee is.
Not long. Their license, CPC1460571, was issued in March 2024 and the domain dates from late 2022, so roughly two to four years depending on which you count. A 4.9 across 171 reviews in that time is a genuine achievement, but a short record is a smaller basis for a decision than a long one.
Outdoor living work in the broad sense — decking, brick garden beds, drainage, outdoor showers, screen enclosures — plus spas and hot tubs, and commercial as well as residential pools. If you want one contractor for the whole backyard rather than just the water, that is the point of them.
We do not know. It can mean a sister company, a rebrand or a shared office — none of them sinister — but confirm you are corresponding with the company whose license you checked, especially with a firm this young.
