Bafco pool visited recently to address ongoing issues hence I have deleted my previous review The crew came over and did their best to address my issues. I appreciate their effort. Will update the review as I monitor. Overall, they made it and I’m satisfied with the results.
I wish I could give this company zero stars. After paying for a brand-new pool build, I have been left with nothing but headaches and defective equipment. The spa has never worked properly, and despite multiple attempts to get them to fix it, the system remains broken. It’s clear they sold me faulty components and have no interest in making it right now that they’ve been paid. Communication has been terrible, and the "finished product" is essentially an expensive eyesore. Save your money and your sanity—go with any other builder. This company does not stand behind its work or its products.
The crew came over and did their best to address my issues. I appreciate their effort. Will update the review as I monitor. Overall, they made it and I’m satisfied with the results. Ex review: Many issues remain unresolved: 1. Control System / Temperature Mismatch Before the recent service visit, I was able to accurately monitor the pool temperature through the Pentair app, and the temperature displayed on my phone matched the temperature shown on the heater/chiller unit. After the recent changes, the temperature readings no longer match. The temperature displayed in the Pentair app and the temperature shown on the unit are now different, which suggests a configuration or sensor issue introduced during the recent work. 2. Excessive Equipment Noise After Recent Work Since the recent adjustments made on Monday, the system is now producing significantly more noise than before. This was not an issue previously and appears to have been introduced during the attempted repair. 3. Pentair Salt Chlorine Generator Still Not Repaired The Pentair salt chlorine generator has now been non-functional for more than 3 weeks, and no technician has been scheduled or sent to repair it. these issues have persisted despite prior notice
We are beyond impressed with the work BAFCO POOLS did on our new swimming pool. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional. Here are a few reasons why I highly recommend them: Speedy Completion: They finished the project much quicker than I anticipated, which is rare for such a major construction project. Top-Tier Quality: The equipment they installed is high-quality and performs perfectly. You can tell they don't cut corners on the materials or the hardware. Expert Craftsmanship: The final result is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. If you’re looking for a reliable pool builder that delivers on their promises and uses the best equipment, look no further than BAFCO. Great job, guys!
We had a very positive experience with this company. From the beginning, the team was very responsible, professional, and efficient throughout the entire process. They were responsive to our questions, kept us informed during each stage of the project, and worked diligently to complete the construction in a timely manner. Overall, we are very happy with the result and with the professionalism of the team. We would definitely recommend them to anyone considering building a pool.
With BAFCO pool company you are assured that you will complete your pool project with no hidden agenda, fees and foolishness. The cost of the contract is really what it is upon completion and hand over of the project. The key person in the company is the owner Eddie, he responds to querries even on a weekend and even when he is out of town and he stands by the company’s reputation and live up to their 5 star rating. He is consistent from day 1 unlike majority of companies when they get the downpayment and the project , they just turn cold and does not reply to messages and emails anymore. Eddie is also very approachable, along with Maikel the co owner . Eddie makes sure that we are satisfied upon the turnover of the project and will do an extra job for the client’s satisfaction. BAFCO company works even on weekends and is very fast to correct discrepancies from inspections. They deliver a professional work and their workers are very courteous and respectful. Maikel the co owner is another nice, respectful and trustworthy person. If you plan to do your pool project , you definitely must choose BAFCO. You can sleep well knowing that you are in good and honest hands. Though we dont live in a perfect world. Some of their staff still have room for improvement esp. Katia since she handles the progress and the stages of the construction. When the project was still ongoing she replies to messages but upon completion and turnover of the project, she never replied anymore and I even called multiple times and begged her to reply for an inquiry… which she NEVER did. To some people ..communication stops where the work ends…So If you have concerns and questions , I advised you to go straight to Eddie or Maikel and your problems will be addressed…

BAFCO Engineering & Construction, trading as BAFCO Pools, works from North West 77th Place in Miami, Miami-Dade County, on Florida pool contractor license CPC1461015 — current since May 2025. Their domain dates from March 2024. Both point at a young company. They build new residential and commercial pools and handle renovation, repair, servicing, spas, water features and outdoor living.
Google has them at 4.7 from 80 reviews — close to two tenths above the Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory, and a large record for a license issued in 2025. Seven reviewers name their professionalism and three the quality of the build. The clearest positive account is about the absence of surprises: no hidden fees, no shifting agenda, the project completed as agreed.
Three recent reviews are one or two stars and none of them carries any text, only the rating. There is nothing to report about them, and nothing to defend the company against either — a bare low rating tells you a customer was unhappy and nothing about why. Read them as three unexplained dissatisfactions in a record of 80.
They publish pages for forty-five places across Miami-Dade, Broward and into Palm Beach — from Florida City and Key Largo in the south up through Miami, Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano and Boca Raton to Lantana and Ocean Ridge. Those pages are one template with the town changed rather than forty-five pieces of local writing, so read the list as the area they will travel to and not as a local presence in each. 24 project photographs are published.
With a license from 2025 and 80 reviews, the gap worth closing is time rather than volume: ask for a customer whose pool was finished more than a year ago and call them. Ask what the three unexplained low ratings were about — a company with nothing to hide will tell you, and the answer is more informative than the ratings themselves. Then the ordinary protections: scope and exclusions in writing, payments tied to inspected stages, a completion date. The license is real; ask separately for the insurance certificate.

Yes. Florida pool contractor license CPC1461015 has been current since May 2025, held by BAFCO Engineering & Construction LLC, which trades as BAFCO Pools. Ask for the insurance certificate separately.
4.7 from 80 Google reviews, against a Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory — close to two tenths above the middle, and a large record for a company licensed in 2025.
Nothing. Three recent reviews are one or two stars with no text at all. They record that three customers were unhappy and give no reason. Ask the company directly what those were about.
They publish pages for forty-five places across Miami-Dade, Broward and southern Palm Beach, but those pages share a single template with the town name changed. Treat it as travel range rather than as local branches. The licensed base is in Miami.
