Review at pool completion: If 10 stars were an option I would rate Neway Pool builders a big 10. After several quotes from other companies, Neway offered the best quality and value for the money. The pool equipment in their package is not only top of the line but the most robust and highly rated. Tamara helped me design a pool that met the needs of my combat disabled veteran husband which was absolutely crucial. Clayton was my pool project manager and I give him 20 stars. Pool building is a busy industry but he will immediately address any concerns, texts, calls or emails. We had to redesign the entry step after the concrete was poured but he had no problem helping me get that done to for safety and comfort reasons. The sub contractors used in the build were courteous, respectful and left the site clean after each job. If I wanted anything done differently they were on it to make sure we were fully satisfied with the pool, decking and final project. The people at Neway are just absolutely delightful, knowledgeable and caring. I felt like my family was building the pool! You can tell they love building pools which is evident in their work ethic and attitudes. They will recommend Craig from From The Ground Up landscaping and George and Holli at GH Waterscapes for your pool startup and cleaning. Save yourself some time shopping around and take my word for it these guys are equally awesome. Lastly a shout out to Paul the Pool School Guy. He will come out and teach everything you need to know about your pool equipment and maintenance. He is a phenomenal teacher, fun, personable and will stay there until all your questions are answered. Thanks to Neway I have an absolutely gorgeous pool and decking! I feel very confident in the quality of this pool installation. Full disclosure, just signed the contract pool not built yet. Rachel was first contact. I'm a pool builders nightmare because I know exactly what I want in systems and equipment. If Rachel doesn't know the answer you will get it quickly. Based on their other reviews I got a quote from them and they build a solid pool.

Honestly the customer service with this company is awful, want paid to show up. Get paid cant schedule a crew. There sales team doesn’t reply. My stucco has been scheduled for pool exposed wall for over 3 months. They give you the same answer. And don’t reply, but have time to laugh at text really great customer service

The entire process, from Sales with Kayan, Evacuation and Final Grade with Jackson, Production Manager Clayton, and Customer Service with Claudia, was outstanding. Every phase was communicated thoroughly and documented with email of a daily log and pictures. Kayan clearly presented the production contract and explained all the necessary equipment required. Tamara was super helpful with the plaster color and tile options. Clayton is very knowledgeable in all aspects of pool construction and was responsive to questions with texts or phone calls as well as in person on site visits to ensure each step was completed properly and was ready for the next step. Clayton made me feel confident during the total construction process which was invaluable. The electrical contractors were experts and very efficient. The pavers were installed expertly in 1 day and joined seamlessly with current pavers! Claudia called at least once a week to check on any questions I may have. Paul is a master of pool equipment and was very precise and patient explaining all during pool school. Jackson and his team were magicians during evac and final grade. I could not be happier with the entire Neway Pools team and the amazing pool they delivered! They deserve higher than a 5-star rating in my opinion. I will highly recommend Neway pools to anyone!

Neway installed pool at our new house. After it was completed they notified us that they failed to get a necessary inspection done. They came out and pulled up pavers and dug 4 holes. Many pavers were broken. It still all stands in 4 piles. No inspection, no replacement of tiles and no response to numerous phone calls and emails. I guess take the money and run is how you operate. Very frustrating!!!! Happy to post this on social media if not corrected.

I originally wrote a 5-star review just days after our pool was completed and for good reason. From dig to done in just 38 days? That’s unheard of, and I was genuinely impressed with the entire experience. But now that it’s been a few months—and somehow that original review disappeared—I’m rewriting it with more perspective and even more appreciation for the team at Neway. Not only is our pool absolutely beautiful, but the memories we’ve already made and the conversations we’ve had around it are priceless. And while I still give Neway a solid 5 stars, I now have the benefit of hindsight and a deeper understanding of what truly matters in a pool company. Before we chose Neway, I did my homework. I talked with a lot of companies, and even more pool owners, trying to get a feel for who we could really trust. We landed with Neway and I have zero regrets. Since our project wrapped, I’ve had conversations with neighbors who used other companies, and let me just say this: not one of them said their process was smooth every single day. That just doesn’t happen with projects this big. But here’s the difference: with Neway, if something doesn’t go right, they will make it right. That’s what you want in a pool company. When you’re choosing who to work with, don’t just focus on the salesman. Try to get a sense of the whole team—because once that contract is signed, they’re the ones you’ll be depending on. Expect there to be bumps in the road. That’s just reality. But the real peace of mind comes from knowing that those bumps will be handled. Tamara has always been just one text away with any concern or question I have. If she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll find it. That kind of follow-through matters. So maybe it’s a good thing that my original review was deleted because this version offers what I didn’t have yet: perspective. Don’t expect perfection. Expect a company that shows up, communicates, and makes it right. That’s what Neway delivers.

OMG...I truly don't know how they got a 4.8 rating but it sucked me right in. First let me say the people were wonderful. The work was horrible. The dig...let's see...they dented my generator, destroyed my fence, cut out my pipes, hit my sewer line, cut my waterline, pulled out my electrical wiring, put 8ft of dirt against my house, ran over my faucet, hit my gutter and mangled it, and gave me a 4ft pool instead of a 5ft pool. I cried for a month while this was happening. It was so stressful. All this while you're paying a huge amount of money. The problem was mainly no supervision. The crews don't speak English and they are subcontractors, wonderful guys but definitely not supervised. I had my pipes exposed so they would know where they were. That didn't help at all. They destroyed things without question. It's painfully finished now and the pool and pavers are beautiful. I didn’t get what I contracted and it will be awhile before I can fix all the damage done. Mainly I'm glad it's over and I can breathe. This is officially my last pool, thank God, never again. Oh by the way, my first pool (another house) was a fiberglass pool and it was the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. I didn't realize how difficult a gunite pool would be.

About Neway Pools LLC

Neway Pools of Gulf Breeze: what they build, which panhandle towns they cover, and what license CPC1460590 covers. Only at FloridaPoolz.

Who they are

Neway Pools works the Florida panhandle from Gulf Breeze in Santa Rosa County, holding Florida pool contractor license CPC1460590, current since April 2024. The domain goes back to 2022, so they were trading before the license issued. Their site reaches for "premier" and "number one", which is advertising rather than fact — the review record below is the better guide, and it is a good one.

What they build

New pool construction, renovation, repair and servicing, spas, water features, screen enclosures and outdoor living work. They publish pages written for Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Milton, Niceville, Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, Miramar Beach, Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach, Crawfordville, Marietta and Tallahassee — the panhandle from Pensacola across to the capital, which is a wide but coherent stretch.

What their reviews say

4.6 from 51 Google reviews, a little above the Florida pool builder average of 4.52, on a count large enough to be dependable. What stands out is the consistency: five separate customers praised build quality, five the professionalism and five the communication. Three themes each raised independently by five people is a more useful signal than the score itself, because it says the same things go right repeatedly rather than occasionally.

Worth asking about

No complaint theme was raised by two or more customers. The license is recent — April 2024 — so ask how many pools they finished before it issued and under what arrangement, since the domain predates it by two years. Three different phone numbers appear across their site, two of them out-of-state area codes, which is worth a question about where the office actually is. The panhandle coverage is broad; confirm a crew genuinely works your town.
