There was no other way for Our Dream Pool than the Rite-Way ! We had been searching for the right pool company. Friends recommended we look into Rite-Way Pools and what a marvelous choice! From fruition to completion, the process was seamlessly configured. The communication was impeccable. Ron and Justin were so accommodating on making some minor changes along the way. We even traveled out of the country and they kept us updated throughout! Today, we love gazing at our beautifully constructed pool, relaxing and swimming, and illuminating for a spectacular pool view at night. Three months to absolute Joy.

We decided to have an inground pool build in our home. We reached out to RITE WAY pools, we got RON to come by and provide us with some ideas, all sounded perfect, what a nice guy! right! we were giving a quote for the job on 07/2021, we tried reaching out many times to discuss moving forward via email, tel, and we were told that the job could not start until 2022, which we were fine with. After calling RON, and emailing him to give them the contract for our pool he never responded, the times he did answer my calls, he said" What is your name again", can you email me again, which I did many times. Called him this year 3 times, including texting his son who said my father will get back to you, of course he never did. Today I got lucky and got a hold of RON, I explained that I tried calling, without any luck. For the love of GOD get a secretary if you are growing and not able to respond on a timely manner. Furthermore after I s/w RON today " I can't recall" and BTW the prices went up... REALLY, when you were the one who never got back to us in the first place? what a joke. I hope whoever is trying to use this company has better luck. I will never call or refer them. It's so disappointing. :-(

I had my pool constructed by Rite way in 2018, I had a leak issue last year and this. However, i have to give Rite way a massive thumbs up, as they have always been extremely responsive and have administered a fix. When you employ a company to do an expensive project, it is refreshing to know that the after service and responsiveness is always there. Every time i have called Justin he has been willing to work with me and resolve issues, he definitely knows how important it is to have happy customers. I have given them 2 referrals in the last few years where they got the work. I finish by saying, when you employ someone to do work, you don't always get the level of after service that is required. This review is to ensure others, you will not have this problem with Rite way pools. Gary Evans

I don't often write reviews, but I am compelled and excited to write this one for Rite Way Pools. We just moved to Florida, and it was the first time having a new pool installed. Having just moved here, we had heard some horror stories about contractors and especially pool companies. We are truly grateful for having found Rite Way Pools. We were very impressed with Ron and Justin from the very beginning. Their renderings of what the pool could look like with their professional advice and competitive quote made it a much easier decision to sign with them. Throughout the installation, their punctuality, communication and honesty were refreshing. From the very beginning, Justin was straight up with us and would contact us as to let us know what the next steps were going to be. This courtesy continued to the very end and actually still continues weeks after completion. I can not say enough good things about this father-son duo. Thanks guys for a wonderful experience. Cheers. Thomas and Carlos

I am sooo happy I went with Rite Way Pools! It’s a family-run business with dad (Ron) and son (Justin). I am 1000% satisfied with their work – we had them do a pool with jacuzzi spa in a very small backyard in Wilton Manors – including all new pavers and water features. As you can see from the pics, they did a superb job. Ron and Justin are long-time locals and they were recommended by others to me, and I certainly recommend them to you! They are always available to answer your questions, and most importantly, when they say they will be out to see your property or when they say a group of workers will show up at this time, THEY ALWAYS DO! That is a rarity, I am told, with some of these pool companies. Look – if you want the best, this is the best. The price is their price and there are no games or shenanigans which is far too common in the pool business here in South Florida. They are good people and they care about their service and quality – and it shows in your interactions with them. They are also patient and informative if you are a first time pool owner like me. They will accompany you to pick out all your colors for your water line tile, pavers, coping, etc. If I had another property – hands down they would do my pool! Thanks Ron and Justin!

Our brand new pool construction was just completed and we couldn't be more satisfied with the finished product! Rite-Way Pools is a family run business of Ron and his son, Justin. From the initial consult with Ron, to the planning, and then the construction we couldn't be happier. Have a question then you just text, call or e-mail and Ron gets back to you immediately. There are no middle men and no sales people. You deal directly with Ron and Justin. The sub contractors they use have been with Ron and Rite-Way Pools for years and are excellent. Watching the entire process is quite an engineering feat but they got it done expertly and in an appropriate time frame considering an environment today of supply and labor issues. You might be in "good Hands" with a certain insurance company but you are in great hands with Rite-Way Pools and the Burr family!!..PIctures will follow!

About Rite Way Pools Inc

Learn everything about Rite Way Pools of Fort Lauderdale — reviews, two licenses, and service area! FloridaPoolz.

Who they are

Rite Way Pools works from North West 30th Court in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, on two current Florida pool contractor licenses — CPC1456651 since August 2003, running to 2028, and CPC1457882 since April 2009. Twenty-three years on the older one. Their reviews describe a family business run by a father and son, and the same two names recur, which on a pool build is usually a good sign: the person who quotes is the person who answers later. They build new pools and handle renovation, repair, servicing, screen enclosures, spas, water features and outdoor living.

What the reviews say

Google has them at 4.8 from 46 reviews — close to three tenths above the Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory, on a record with real weight behind it. Five reviewers name their professionalism, and the warmest account is explicit about the family running it.

Two reviews are one star. One carries no text at all, so there is nothing to weigh. The other describes an in-ground pool build that began with a visit from the owner and went wrong from there; it is a first-hand account of a build rather than a passing complaint, and it sits against forty-four positive ones.

That ratio is the honest summary: a strong record with one detailed dissent.

Where they work

They publish written pages for seventeen places across Broward and into Palm Beach and Miami-Dade — Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Davie, Weston, Sunrise, Tamarac, Margate, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Oakland Park, Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Aventura and Boca Raton — and those pages are written for their places rather than one template with the town swapped. On a seventeen-town list that is a lot of separate writing, and it is a reasonable proxy for a firm that actually works across the area.

Before you sign

Get the scope and exclusions in writing with a completion date, and ask which of the two licenses covers your job. Ask the father-and-son question directly: who will be running your build day to day, and who do you call when they are not there. The one detailed complaint on record is about a build that started with the owner's visit, so the answer matters. Ask for the insurance certificate, which Florida does not publish.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

Are Rite Way Pools licensed in Florida?

Two current licenses: CPC1456651 since August 2003, running to 2028, and CPC1457882 since April 2009. Ask which covers your job, and ask for the insurance certificate separately.

How does their rating compare with other Florida builders?

4.8 from 46 Google reviews, against a Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory — close to three tenths above the middle.

What do the negative reviews say?

There are two. One carries no text at all. The other is a first-hand account of an in-ground pool build that began with a visit from the owner and went wrong from there. It sits against forty-four positive reviews.

Which areas do they cover?

Seventeen places across Broward and into Palm Beach and Miami-Dade, each with its own written page rather than a shared template — which on a list that long is a lot of separate writing.
